P+S Personnel are pleased to be working on behalf of our clients, who are currently seeking Accounts Supervisor to join their team based in Great Yarmouth on a full-time, permanent basis.

Role Summary:

You will take the ownership of the day to day finance function, and not afraid to get involved, while also supporting the development and growth of the company through improved systems and processes.

  

Main Responsibilities:

  • Carrying out daily bookkeeping, including invoicing (sales and purchase), VAT returns, and debtor/creditor control
  • Managing payment runs and conducting spend analysis
  • Production of management information
  • Implementing, improving systems and internal controls
  • Collating information for payroll purposes.

 

Experience and Qualifications:

  • AAT qualified (or higher) or qualified by experience
  • Minimum of 5 years bookkeeping or accounts experience
  • A proactive approach to system and process improvement and financial controls
  • Experience within a similar industry is desirable, but not essential

Working Hours and Benefits:

  • Monday – Friday 37.5 hours per week
