We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Social Worker specialising in Children in Need and Child Protection. In this role, you will work with vulnerable children and families, providing vital support and safeguarding services. You will lead and manage complex cases, including care proceedings, while ensuring children's safety and well-being.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct thorough assessments and develop care plans to address the needs and risks of children in need or protection.
  • Manage cases within care proceedings, collaborating with legal and other professionals to ensure timely and effective outcomes.
  • Conduct regular visits and maintain relationships with children, families, and relevant professionals.
  • Attend and actively participate in meetings, case reviews, and court proceedings.
  • Maintain accurate, up-to-date records, reports, and documentation.

Requirements:

  • Qualifications: Qualified Social Worker with active registration.
  • Experience: Minimum of 3 years in child protection and care proceedings.
  • Location: Must be local enough to conduct in-person visits on a weekly or bi-weekly basis, depending on individual cases.
  • Flexibility: Ability to work both from home and in the field to accommodate the needs of our children and families.
  • 3 years perm experience.
