Production Engineer
Elevation Recruitment Group are supporting a growing and innovative manufacturing business in their search for a Production Engineer to join their engineering team.
This is an excellent opportunity for a hands-on engineer who enjoys improving manufacturing processes, solving shop floor challenges, and supporting the introduction of new products into production. The business has a number of exciting projects and product launches planned, offering plenty of variety and the opportunity to make a real impact.
Key responsibilities for the Production Engineer:
- Lead and support manufacturing and process improvement projects
- Troubleshoot production and quality issues across the shop floor
- Support new product introduction activities and manufacturing readiness
- Improve manufacturing efficiency, workflow, and process reliability
- Create and maintain technical and manufacturing documentation
- Support continuous improvement and lean manufacturing initiatives
- Work collaboratively with Production, Engineering, and Quality teams
The successful Production Engineer will have:
- Previous experience within a Production, Manufacturing, Process, or Continuous Improvement Engineering role
- A practical, hands-on approach to engineering and problem solving
- 3D CAD experience
- Experience supporting process improvements and lean manufacturing activities
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work cross-functionally
- Assembly, electronics, or manufacturing technology environments
- ERP system exposure
- SOP/work instruction creation
- Experience within regulated manufacturing environments
